Happy Spring!

Yes!  We are so excited that we have firmly landed into spring!

With it comes all the beautiful things growing and blooming around us!
It is so nice to go out and see people once again walking the beautiful streets of Nashville, just having a great time!

We are also in the midst of our crazy, busy season of festivals and events.  These are such fun and exciting times!  We truly love being a food truck in Nashville, and all the kind folks we have the pleasure of serving.

We are so excited to tell you about the company we have partnered with lately, to add yet another step of convenience to your life!

Who doesn't like convenient??

We have been working with these guys for a couple of months, and I have to say that it has really been a great experience for everyone!

The company is called ToGoOrder.com.

As with all great businesses out there, it started small with a couple of guys who had a great idea!  Then it just took off!

The idea is pretty simple.  You go to ONE website to check the menu, availability, price, etc. and order food from the location of your choice.  This includes both food trucks AND restaurants.
Then you place your order, pay for it, and they have it ready and waiting for you when you get there! 

It is BRILLIANT!  I hate having to check 16 different restaurant websites to look at menus when I want to grab something to go!  Now, I go to one website.  I browse.  I order. I pay.  They  have it waiting for me.  Oh man...  I didn't even have to sit on hold while I wait for someone to come to the phone and take my order.  The website can even remember my "usual"!  Really!?  How cool is that!

Now, they have taken it a step further.  An APP!  That means I can do all of that FROM MY PHONE!  WOO-HOO!!  Yep, if you have an iPhone or Android, you just download it for free from the market or app store.

In addition, you can view the website to see where some of your FAVORITE  food trucks (and a certain, delicious cupcake truck - "ahem") will be days in advance!  Or just open the app and click on "Find Food Near Me"!  I can't tell you how many times I have needed that!!
 Usually, you can even order starting the day before.

Not only does this benefit the consumer, it also helps the food truck or restaurant know in advance what they need to have prepped and ready!  Nothing like seeing a menu you like, then getting there to discover they have sold out of your favorite flavor...  bummer.

Starting immediately, when you check here to see our weekly schedule, we will try to always post the link to the ToGoOrder site.  This will take you directly to the screen where you will have the option of viewing the menu and placing your order.
Now, it is certainly not a requirement.  You are more than welcome to show up and order from the window.  But, it does add that level of convenience we all hope for so give it a try!

We want to sincerely wish everyone a very Happy New Year! 

Hopefully everyone had a safe and happy holiday season!  We took some time off and really enjoyed it, but we didn't want to start the New Year off without telling all our wonderful customers how much we appreciate you!  It makes us truly happy to do what we do every day, and seeing the smiling faces of the people we have the honor of serving is really the "icing on the cake"!

It's Party Time!!

It's almost Christmas folks!!  Are you ready?
It really is the BEST time of the year! You just have to remind yourself sometimes to slow down and enjoy it.

One of the best things about the holidays, aside from all the delicious food, is all the Christmas parties!

I love getting the opportunity to gather with good friends and family to celebrate our Savior's birth and just enjoy time together! We should never let the stress of the holidays allow us to forget the reason for the season!

For some of you, it could be as simple as getting a break from the daily office grind.
For others, it is the time of year when you get to gather with family and friends you don't get to see on a regular basis.

Whatever the reason for your party, don't be the one everyone talks about by bringing the fruit cake!  You KNOW you don't want to be "that guy"!

Instead, be the talk of the office by bringing fresh made gourmet cupcakes! You will impress your boss and co-workers for sure!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow, how time flies!  Seems like just yesterday we were sweating away in the 100 degree days we had this summer! Now we are just a little more than a week away from Thanksgiving.

As we make preparations for everything involved with the upcoming holiday, there is so much going on, it makes me realize how much there is to do!

Visiting with family, preparing the big meal, maybe even working on the Black Friday shopping list!

But, above all of that, it is a time to be thankful for all the blessings in our life!  We are blessed with so many things, it is a time that we like to try and give back to those who are not so fortunate.

Then, an idea struck me!

My son's cub scout pack, in conjunction with his school, is holding a food drive to benefit hungry families this Thanksgiving.  Any and all non-perishable foods are accepted and will be donated to those who otherwise may not have a holiday meal.

So, here is the deal! 

 THIS WEEK ONLY!

Anyone who comes to my truck with a bag of non-perishable food items to donate for the food drive will get their first cupcake FREE!

That's right! I said FREE!!

You can pick any flavor I have that day, and you will go home knowing that you did a good deed!

Some examples of items needed are: (from the list I received)
* Canned Ham
* Canned vegetables or beans
* Canned fruit
* Stuffing Mix
* mac n cheese
* cake or brownie mix
* coffee (NOT instant)
* laundry soap
* Gift Cards!

These items will all be used by families this Thanksgiving.  As we sit down to our big family feast, it will be nice knowing that you also helped feed someone else's family this Thanksgiving!
