Happy Thankful Birthday!!!

It's Birthday time!!  Ours!!

Wow! It is so hard to believe that 2 years have gone by since Dixie Belle's Cupcakes hit the streets of Nashville!

It has been quite a ride, to say the least, but we have LOVED every minute of it!

It was mid-October 2 years ago, actually, when we packed up our newly renovated cupcake-mobile for the first time and set out to bring our fresh made cupcakes to our customers on the street & at local events.

We have been so blessed by the wonderful community we serve we want to celebrate our birthday in a special way this year!

As some of you may know, we have partnered before with Hermitage Church of Christ.  We have served events there in their parking lot on several occasions.
They have a Food Pantry at HCC that provides groceries to those in need in the Hermitage area.  More and more they are seeing people in need of food.

For a couple of years now they have had a special project each November to provide a Thanksgiving meal to anyone who needed it.  It's called Harvest Sunday.  Essentially, they put out a shopping list in advance and ask that the items be returned that Sunday prior to Thanksgiving.  In the following days, over a hundred families have typically turned out in need of a Thanksgiving meal.

So, we are going to have a unique special this year to celebrate our 2nd birthday!

Anyone who brings food items with them to the truck to donate will receive their first cupcake for FREE!  We want to help provide as many food bags as we can!!
BUT, since people are in need for food during all the holidays, we are going to extend the special through the end of December!
So, ANYTIME you see us out from now through the end of December, you may bring us some food items to donate to the HCC food pantry and get a free cupcake!

We just couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our birthday!  We are very blessed to have been in business for the last 2 years, and very thankful for the many wonderful folks we have served along the way.

Any food items are accepted, but if you would like to print the HCC shopping list, just head over to their website at www.hccfamily.org and look on the News & Updates page.  There is a link to print the list from there.

Once again, thank you to all the wonderful folks we have had the pleasure of serving the last 2 years!  We look forward to many more years to come!

Happy Birthday to us!!
